OUR HISTORY Since 1949, the Crête family has been working in the wood industry. In 1996, Gestion S. Crête Inc. acquired the assets of Rabotage Guérette Inc. Three years later, the company was completely destroyed by fire. In 1999, Maxi-Forêt, a division of Gestion S.Crête Inc., was incorporated. The company acquires a 110,000 square foot building on 2,700,000 square feet of land and begins operations in St-Jérôme. In 2013, Maxi-Forêt opened a branch in Trois-Rivières to better serve central and eastern Quebec.
