Three years later, the company was completely destroyed by fire. In 1999, Maxi-Forêt, a division of Gestion S.Crête Inc., was incorporated. The company acquires a 110,000 square foot building on 2,700,000 square feet of land and begins operations in St-Jérôme. In 2013, Maxi-Forêt opened a branch in Trois-Rivières to better serve central and eastern Quebec.
